Understanding EDDM Full Service vs. Print Only

 

We offer two EDDM (Every Door Direct Mail) options: Print and Mail (Full Service) and Print Only.

Full Service EDDM simplifies the entire process. You can do everything from our website: select delivery dates and routes, upload your design, and complete the checkout with postcards, service fees, and postage included. We handle the printing, processing, and delivery to the post office, with no limit on the number of postcards sent.

Print Only EDDM involves a more hands-on approach. We print and ship your postcards to you, and you manage the rest from there. This includes creating a USPS account, selecting mail routes, completing USPS paperwork, paying for postage, preparing route bundles with facing slips, and delivering the postcards to the post office. Note that there is a maximum of 5,000 postcards per day.

Choosing between these options depends on your needs. Print Only gives you more control but requires a little more effort, while Full Service provides convenience and efficiency, taking care of all the logistical steps for you.

We print approved EDDM® sizes on your choice of durable 14 pt. or 16 pt. stocks.

To reduce file size, please upload in .jpg format. If you choose another file format, please ensure all layers are flattened. For best results, please use our downloadable templates below. All the available templates already have the correct dimensions, including bleed.

Production Turnaround

Production Turnaround is the estimated number of business days needed to print a project. It doesn’t include the shipping or delivery.

“Express” Turnaround means as soon as humanly possible under current production schedule. NO CUT OFF TIMES. YansPrint team will be in direct contact with you to coordinate the project.

If the order is placed by 12 noon, approved and paid* before 4pm PST, production starts that same day, and 1 Business day will be considered the next working day.
